This week project44 attended the 2017 MercuryGate User Conference in Las Vegas. As a trusted technology partner of MercuryGate, we were thrilled to join industry experts to discuss how project44 integrates with the MercuryGate TMS, providing users with industry-leading automation and visibility. Here are some of the highlights.

Technology Partner of the Year

While at the conference, project44 took home some hardware. We are thrilled to win MercuryGate’s award for Technology Partner of the Year”! We’re proud to integrate with strong technology vendors like MercuryGate. Partnerships like this strengthen the industry as a whole, and help to advance technology so that we can all get more done in an efficient way.

The industry is most certainly changing, and technology is the driving force. As AI, IoT, Machine Learning, Automation, and Digitization continue to improve, the amount of data we have available is expanding, as are the ways in which we can leverage that data.

project44 brings increased carrier connectivity to TMS providers like MercuryGate, and offers the ease of single-point integration. We enable MercuryGate clients to be successful by providing them with automation and real-time visibility in key areas like dispatch/tender and document retrieval.

As a company, MercuryGate is focused on listening to our customers’ needs and developing innovative solutions to help them achieve their business goals,” says MercuryGate CEO and Co-Founder, Monica Wooden. Our integration partnership with project44 [makes] it easier for customers to obtain accurate quotes and to access real time-tracking. These capabilities enable customers to reduce administrative costs. Both project44 and MercuryGate are committed to adding value for our mutual clients by providing a seamless experience that allows them to leverage a robust API solution.”

Connectivity among supply chain partners is a crucial aspect of making all of these parts function together in harmony, and partnerships like project44 and MercuryGate are a positive step in that direction. The project44 team actually spoke to this effect during their session at the MercuryGate User Conference.

The Path to Success is Paved by Innovation

project44 Founder and CEO, Jett McCandless, presented while in Las Vegas. His session, The Path to Success is Paved by Innovation, covered the rise of certain technology sectors, and how they are impacting the transportation and logistics industry. The main areas of focus involved how digitization, automation, and connectivity are enabling real-time visibility and advanced data analytics.

The supply chain is becoming increasingly complex due to customer expectations—a phenomenon known as the Amazon Effect.” Companies are going to need to rely heavily on these technology solutions in order to meet customer demands, and provide a positive experience moving forward. The good news is that companies are recognizing this, and the supply chain is more integrated now than ever before.
