CMA CGM has announced a reshuffle of three of their West African services to improve their service offerings to their strategic market locations and better cope with the rapidly evolving market environment. The services that will have updated rotations are MEDWAX, EURAF3, and WAZZAN.
With this revamp, CMA CGM aims to stabilize its Europe-Africa fleet and provide more reliable quality of service.
Below are the details of the new rotations:
- MEDWAX will now operate with 4 vessels of 2,500 to 2,800 TEU nom. as follows with a 28-day rotation period. The first scheduled departure will be with m/v ATLANTIC DISCOVERER voy. 0MY3FS1MA, ETA Algeciras 07/05.
Port Rotation: Algeciras – Tanger – Dakar – Conakry – Freetown – San Pedro – Algeciras
- EURAF 3 will operate with 5 vessels of 1,700 to 2,200 TEU nom. with a 42-day rotation period. The first scheduled departure will be with m/v LION voy. vge 0BFC6S1MA, ETA Algeciras 01/05.
Port Rotation: Algeciras – Tanger – Monrovia – Banjul – Algeciras
- WAZZAN will operate with 4 vessels of 1,300 to 1,700 TEU nom. with a 28-day rotation period. The first scheduled departure will be with m/v ATLANTIC SILVER voy. 0TLABS1MA, ETA Algeciras 13/05.
Port Rotation: Casablanca – Algeciras – Tanger – Nouakchott – Dakar – Nouadhibou – Las Palmas – Casablanca
